This Privacy Policy describes how LocateNow LLC ("LocateNow," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information about you when you use our apartment locating services or visit locatenowatl.com (the "Site"). By using the Site or our services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you use our intake form or communicate with our locators, including:

• Contact information: first name, last name, email address, and mobile phone number
• Apartment search preferences: apartment size, budget, move-in date, neighborhood preferences, pet information, and other notes you choose to share
• Financial qualification information: credit status range and employment status (used solely to match you with appropriate properties)
• Communications: messages you send to us via web form, SMS, email, or phone

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit the Site, including IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and approximate location for analytics purposes.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide our locator services, including matching you with apartments that meet your criteria
• Communicate with you via your preferred channels (email, SMS, phone) about your active home search
• Send you personalized apartment shortlists, tour confirmations and reminders, and follow-up check-ins
• Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
• Improve our services and the Site
• Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud

3. SMS Communications

LocateNow offers SMS communications to clients who have provided explicit consent to receive text messages through the SMS consent checkbox on our intake form. After opting in, you may receive SMS messages including:

• Personalized apartment shortlist links matching your search criteria
• Tour confirmations and day-of reminders for scheduled property visits
• Replies to questions you initiate with your locator
• Occasional check-ins during your active home search

All SMS messages are 1-to-1 and tied to your existing locator-client relationship. We do not send marketing blasts, mass texts, or unsolicited promotional content via SMS.

4. Non-Sharing of Mobile Data

LocateNow does not share, sell, rent, or transfer mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or related consent information to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Phone numbers collected for SMS communications are used solely to deliver our locator services to clients.

5. Message Frequency and Rates

Message frequency varies based on your active client engagement. Active clients typically receive 1-15 messages per week during an active home search, with fewer messages thereafter. Message frequency may temporarily spike around scheduled tours, application deadlines, or active negotiations.

Message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier plan. LocateNow does not charge for SMS communications, but your carrier may charge you according to your plan. Consult your wireless service provider for details.

6. Data Sharing with Service Providers

We share your information with third-party service providers strictly as needed to operate our services, including:

• Hosting and infrastructure providers (e.g., Supabase, Vercel) that store and serve our data
• Email service providers (e.g., Gmail/Google Workspace) used to send transactional communications from our team
• SMS service provider (Twilio) used to deliver text messages you have explicitly consented to receive
• Analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) for aggregate, non-personally-identifying usage analysis
• Property management companies, leasing offices, or landlords with whom you have explicitly asked us to share your information (e.g., guest cards, applications)

These providers are contractually bound to protect your information and use it solely to perform services for us. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

7. Cookies and Analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and to remember your preferences. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for aggregate, anonymized analysis of how the Site is used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; doing so may limit some Site functionality but will not affect your ability to use our services.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
• Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP
